About
-
Hobbies:
Final Fantasy XI, Guitar Hero, Pokemon, using my cats as pillows.
-
Movies:
Lord of the Rings trilogy, Hamlet, Braveheart, epic films about war and national interests in general, I suppose. Anything with an intelligent plot is good. Oh, and Disney traditional animated films... Charlie Chaplin movies are fun too.
-
Artists:
Too many to list... Van Gogh, Tobias Kwan and Marc Brunet are up there. Hayao Miyazaki too. Dozens more whose names escape me at the moment...
-
Tools:
For traditional art I use mechanical pencil 0.5mm, 2H to 8B leads and various sizes of vellum bristol and standard sketch paper for line art. I then use Copic sketch markers and multiliners, Prismacolor colored pencils, Sharpie oil paint pens, and other random traditional media for colors.
I prefer to use mixed media to achieve a unique style, but can go entirely digital if a project requires it.For digital art, I start with a pencil sketch, then move to Adobe Illustrator CS4 for vector, or use Paint Tool Sai and Adobe Photoshop CS4 for raster images. - Websites:
